Damion Lee made his return to the court Friday night, as Drexel squared off against Colorado. Lee and fellow junior guard Tavon Allen would lead the Dragons in scoring, but would be unable to make up for the remainder of the injury-depleted Drexel roster in a 65-48 loss to the Buffaloes.
The Buffaloes would charge out of the gate, taking a 12-3 lead as the Dragons made just one of their first 11 shots. Drexel would head to the half down just 33-29, however, as Tavon Allen notched 11 points off the bench in the half.

Drexel continued to struggle to make shots in the second half, allowing the Buffaloes to maintain their lead before a 7-0 Colorado run late in the game put things out of reach for the Dragons.
Lee finished with 12 points while Allen added 16 off the bench, but the Dragons would shoot just 29.1 percent from the field as they dropped the season opener to Colorado 65-48.
