Saint Joseph's jumped out to an early 10-4 lead, but Halil Kanacevic picked up two early fouls and the Colonials took full advantage as the forward was relegated to the bench. With Kanacevic out, George Washington built a 14-point lead with 5:32 remaining in the half before the Hawks stormed back to head to the locker room down just 32-30.

The Hawks would emerge from the locker room ready to go, taking the lead and stretching it to as much as nine with 11 minutes remaining. The Colonials would come back however, taking a 60-58 lead as Kanacevic picked up his fifth foul, and holding on for a 76-71 win.
Bembry led the four Hawks' scorers in double figures with 22 points, while Ronald Roberts Jr., scored 16 and grabbed 8 rebounds. Chris Wilson and Langston Galloway pitched in 14 and 10 points, respectively, but it wouldn't be enough as the Hawks' six-game win streak was snapped.
Saint Joseph's, now 21-8, will finish up the regular season with a home matchup against LaSalle on Sunday.
