Saint Joseph's (13-6, 3-2 A10) arrived in Richmond on a 4 game winning streak but will head home with a loss. Kendall Anthony and Trey Davis led the Spiders (14-6, 4-1 A10) to a win on their home court despite a dominant showing from SJU's Halil Kanacevic.
After a competitive first 10 minutes, spectacular 3 point shooting from Richmond would put them ahead for good. The Spiders hit 7 of 14 from deep in the first half, and finished 10 for 22. Six different players knocked down a three-pointer for Richmond. The Hawks fell behind 35-28 at the half.

The Hawks won the battle of the boards, out rebounding Richmond 44-35, while generating second-chance shots with 21 offensive rebounds. Halil Kanacevic secured a career-high 19 rebounds for SJU to go with his game-high 21 points. However, Saint Joe's struggled from the floor, shooting a pathetic 37% for the game.
