With just two games remaining in the regular season and the Owls firmly on the NCAA Tournament bubble, Temple could afford few mistakes Thursday night at East Carolina.
After a 25-minute delay due to lighting issues, the Owls and Pirates would finally be able to get the game underway.
Temple would appear to be shooting in the dark in the early minutes, but would use a late first half run to take the lead, one they would not relinquish in a 70-56 win over ECU.
