According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Eagles will place kicker Cody Parkey on Injured Reserve with a groin injury, ending his season, and will sign Caleb Sturgis to take his place.

The Birds looked like a different team in the first half, taking a 24-7 lead to the locker room at the half and holding on in the second half for a 24-17 win over the Jets. While it's only three weeks into the season, it is safe to say this was a must-win for the Eagles if they have any hopes of making the playoffs. Where do I even start? It was a terrible showing for the Eagles, as they fall to 0-2 with today's loss to the Cowboys by a final score of 20-10. The defense looked decent, allowing just one offensive touchdown to Terrence Williams towards the end of the game, but the offense was putrid. After the showing they had this preseason, everyone was expecting huge things from the offense. But two games in, they look nothing like the high flying, fast moving offense of the preseason.
