Just a few days into training camp and the Eagles are already down a star player. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who led the team in receiving yards during the miserable season that just passed, was injured during a 7-on-7 drill.
Maclin was down on the field for a few minutes before finally being helped to the cart to head into the NovaCare complex. Maclin injured his right knee, and moved gingerly as he made his way to the cart with the help of trainers.
Needless to say, this is not good. Maclin is a big part of this Eagles offense and without him the team will definitely be worse off. Sources close to Maclin are now saying the wideout tore his ACL in his right knee. We wish Jeremy a speedy recovery.
