The Eagles announced their final round of rosters cuts on Saturday afternoon. While the team only needed to get the roster down to 53 players, they trimmed the roster all the way down to 52 by getting rid of Tim Tebow, leaving the door open for another quarterback to be brought in.

Initially thought to have been waived, WR Jeff Maehl was actually placed on the IR according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.

According to the NFL Network's Rand Getlin, the Eagles have shown interest in Ponder.
Multiple sources tell me the #Eagles have interest in Christian Ponder. Team always maintained it's about putting together "the best 53".
