New segment we're doing here. Don't think I'll be able to post rankings this year due to the massive amount of time that takes and how hard it is to format on the web-hosting service we use. If you want good rankings though, trust me, skip ESPN and head over to Fantasy Pros. They've got what you need. As you'll see below, we're going to be bouncing around every division in the NFL and highlighting important fantasy notes from the week that was to help you going forward. In a sense, this is probably better than rankings. Without further adieu.
NFC EAST:
Dallas: For as bad as their defense was supposed to be it was their offense that turned them into a laughingstock on Sunday. Specifically Romo. After being babied along in the preseason post-back surgery he came out and threw 3 interceptions and looked out of sync with his receivers. I wouldn't panic just yet, but if you have Romo as your only QB I might start looking to see if Jake Locker is available.
NY Giants: Last night proved that Larry Donnell is the Giant's starting TE. I see a lot of dump routs for him going forward. Worth a waiver wire pickup if you're like me and traditionally only draft 1 TE.
Philadelphia: Not too much to gleam from this game. An average showing from most fantasy players against a team that they were expected to beat handily. I will say that Ertz's stock is rising fast as Celek's slowly slides.
Washington: Man, RGIII looked bad. I don't think I saw him complete one pass longer than 5 yards. Also Jordan Reed is expected to be out a few weeks due to a hamstring injury. MRI today. Logan Paulson and Niles Paul are your backups.

Chicago: Alshon Jeffery's hamstring problem doesn't seem to be serious. Owners rejoice. He was seen walking with no limp in the locker room after the game. Also Cutler threw some picks but I'm still on the bandwagon, keep starting him, he'll be fine.
Detroit: Damn, do I love having Detroit Lions players on my team. Stafford continues to make Megatron look good (I know it's the other way around) to the tune of 32 fantasy points in 4pt TD leagues and Joique Bell had more carries and TD's than Reggie Bush last night.
Green Bay: Not taking much away from this game as it was against the Seahawks. If you're a Rodgers owner though, how annoying does it get when he chooses to get sacked? I swear the guy would rather take 5 sacks before throwing the ball out of bounds once.
Minnesota: AP was shut down by the Rams, who clearly game-planned for him. The only player they couldn't shut down was literally everyone else. Most Vikings had decent days and of course Cordarrelle Patterson broke that long run for a TD. Patterson seems to be able to live up to the hype.
NFC SOUTH:
Atlanta: I watched Hardknocks and said to myself, this won't be a good team. I may have to eat some crow. Matt Ryan had an insane game. Roddy and Julio looked good. Matt Bryant might have had the best day for a kicker. Now for some sleepers. Devin Hester had as many catches as Roddy and Julio and is owned in only 2% of leagues. Levin Toilolo is the Falcons only TE option now that Tony Gonzalez is gone and he had a TD yesterday. He may not be your TE1 immediately, but he needs to be owned.
Carolina: Kelvin Benjamin had a good day. Roll with him in your flex spot next week. That's all I got. Don't really want any other Panthers players. Good news is Cam should be ready to go next week.
New Orleans: Marques Colston is still a threat, leading the Saints in receiving yards w 110. Jimmy Graham is still Jimmy Graham, be patient, the TD's will come. Rookie Brandin Cooks had the best day for a rookie WR, going 7-77-1 and rushing for 18. A pissed off Saints team now gets to play Cleveland next week. Start your Saints!
Tampa Bay: God, those uniforms are an atrocity. You got yourself a time share here. Even if Doug Martin didn't roll his leg halfway through the game I still wouldn't want anything to do with Bucs RB's. Bobby Rainey is your de facto starter while Doug Martin is out though, still waiting on an update for Martin's injury.
NFC WEST:
Arizona: Andre Ellington played last night, despite rumblings that he wouldn't, and got his typical RB2 numbers. Most of us Ellington owners probably didn't start him, but it's good to have the option going forward. Larry Fitzgerald was surprisingly quiet this game. Sleeper John Brown got the passing TD, while backup RB Stepfan Taylor got the...other receiving TD.
San Francisco: Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde both looked good, especially considering the Cowboys knew the run was coming every time as the 49ers basically started the game up 21-0. Vernon Davis was a stud, turning 2 of his 4 receptions into TD's. 49ers D also looked unstoppable.
Seattle: There doesn't seem to be any wear-and-tear on the Seahawks D. They basically picked up right where they left off, registering a safety and numerous sacks. Richard Sherman didn't even have to do anything that game, they didn't throw near him once. Lynch looked amazing, despite some naysayers thinking he'd slow down this year and Russell Wilson, usually known for being a better real life QB than a fantasy QB, looked like a good fantasy QB as well. Definitely a must start next week at San Diego.
St. Louis: Well, so much for that outstanding defense. This game was all I need to hop off that bandwagon. 34-6 against the Seahawks? Whatever. Against the Vikings? Inexcusable! Zac Stacy is in a timeshare with Benny Cunningham, so I recommend picking up Cunningham. That's it though. The Rams have no QB with Bradford out and no dependable receivers. The offense is a fantasy wasteland. None of the WR's should be any higher than your WR4 and that's even a stretch. They have one chance to prove that there's some life lest in 2 weeks when they go against Dallas' porous defense. After that it's a bunch of divisional games that I'd want no part of.
