TERRANCE WEST TEARING IT UP AT BROWNS CAMP

Not that this will affect the early stages of anyone's draft, but for those thinking of taking Ben Tate as a mid-level pick, he may not be the guy for long in Cleveland. Coach Mike Pettine said today that Terrance West has "shocked" him with his pass-catching ability and isn't far behind Ben Tate. Tate will still probably start in week 1, but West should see more work than expected and could be a sneaky late-round pickup in PPR leagues.

LAMICHAEL JAMES (SF) DISLOCATES ELBOW

In an update to yesterday's news that Kendall Hunter will be out for the season with a torn ACL, LaMichael James dislocated his elbow today at the 49ers camp on a pass-blocking drill. Early reports say he'll miss a month, which is basically the entire preseason. Carlos Hyde continues to be an intriguing RB option. Hyde is a better pass catching option than most people think and may be able to fill the 3rd-down back role if James doesn't step up upon returning.
