In the face of 4 straight losses, the Flyers hope to right the ship with the return of Sean Couturier tonight.
While it hasn't been confirmed that Coots will play tonight against Edmonton, the second game of a back-to-back, he is slated to rejoin the team after missing the last 5 games after taking a cheap shot to the head from former teammate Zac Rinaldo.
Coots had a goal and 2 assists through five games before the concussion. His offense has clearly been missed, with the team posting a near league low 1.6 goals per game in his absence. The only team with a worse goal per game average is the woeful Anaheim Ducks.
We'll tweet out any updates on Coots as the drags on. Enjoy your Tuesday, Philly.
EDIT: Sean Couturier won't be playing tonight. Had a successful morning skate but says he still needs one more day of full skating to feel fully recovered.
