The NHL announced today that Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo has been suspended four games, without pay, for the hit he laid on Sabres defenseman Chad Ruhwedel on Sunday night. Rinaldo was assessed a match penalty for the illegal check to the head (video below).
The four-game suspension puts Rinaldo out for the remainder of the regular season, which wraps up Sunday.

I don't really have a problem with the suspension. The hit was kind of dirty, and I think the Flyers just may survive without Rinaldo for four games...
