15 And Counting: Thunder, Durant Dominate 76ers

The 76ers ended their short, 2 game road trip in Oklahoma City  in unsurprising fashion; by losing. The Sixers fell behind early and trailed the entire contest after getting beat in almost every aspect of the game. Philly's (15-46) losing streak has now grown to 15 games after losing 125-92.
Philadelphia trailed by double-digits less than 5 minutes into the game as the Thunder put up 37 first quarter points. Kevin Durant exploded offensively, finished with 42 points in 33 minutes. Durant also added 9 boards and 2 steals.

Sixers trailed 61-45 at halftime and the deficit only grew in the 2nd half.

The Sixers allowed their opponent to shoot 57% for the game. The struggles continued for Philly, shooting a terrible 34%, however they did hit 10 of their 30 attempts from downtown. One of the few positives, the Sixers won the turnover battle, with a +4 difference.

The Sixers were out-rebounded 57-38 and allowed 58 points in the paint, as OKC took advantage of Philly's lack of front court talent and depth.

James Anderson led the Sixers with 20 points. Carter-Williams scored 14 points and dished out 5 assists. Byron Mullens had his best game as a Sixer, playing 20 minutes and contributing 15 points and 6 rebounds. Thad Young had an off night, scoring only 6 points (3-13 FG) and grabbing 4 rebounds.

Russell Westbrook dropped a triple double in only 20 minutes, ending with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists. Reggie Jackson and Serge Ibaka scored 14 points each.

The Sixers have never beaten the Thunder in Oklahoma City (0-6 since the franchise moved from Seattle).

Philadelphia will return home and face the Jazz (21-39) on Saturday. Utah is on a 3 game skid of their own.
