As good as Alonso is, inside linebacker was one of the few positions where Philadelphia had plenty of depth to step in right away. Rookie Jordan Hicks performed admirably in Alonso's absence. With Alonso, Hicks, Ryans, and Kendricks all currently ready to play, Hicks will struggle to see the same amount of playing time as he did during Alonso's absence. But it's always great to get a player as good as Kiko Alonso back and ready to play.
Nelson Agholor also returned to practice this week. Agholor injured his ankle during the October 11th matchup with the Saints, and missed the games against the Giants and Panthers. Eagles receivers have struggled this season, so getting Agholor back and ready to get some more reps in bodes well for the Eagles offense.
Agholor got off to a slow start this year, with just eight receptions for 105 yards total this season. He needs to come back and prove over these nine weeks that he was worthy of a first round selection and start improving.
