Not much movement in this week's rankings, but there could be a lot in the coming weeks, as conference play gets into full swing and we start to see how each squad deals with the rash of injuries that has swept the City 6 of late.
The Explorers were on the road today, as they visited the Palumbo Center for a matchup with the 8-5 Duquesne Dukes. Duquesne entered the contest looking for their sixth straight win, while La Salle was seeking its third in a row. The Explorers closed a tightly contested first half on a 14-4 run, and would carry that momentum into the second half on their way to a 75-56 win.
Saint Joseph's traveled to Fairfax, Virginia tonight, as they faced the 7-8 George Mason Patriots. With a shorter bench than usual due to a recent rash of injuries, the Hawks would be forced to look to other members of the team to step up. The healthy members of the team would do just that, battling back from a halftime deficit to top George Mason, 84-80.
Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!
