The Quakers were not in action this week and thus remain at the bottom of the rankings. Penn will be back in action on December 22, against Marist.
5. Saint Joseph’s (4-4)
The Hawks were not in action this week. Saint Joseph's will next play Drexel on December 18.
4. La Salle (5-5)
La Salle was dominated by Villanova this afternoon. There is no shame in losing to the #10 Wildcats, but it would've been nice if the Explorers could've remained competitive in the second half.
The Explorers will next face off against Wagner on December 19, as they look to move back above the .500 mark on the season.
3. Temple (4-4)
The Owls had the week off and will return to the court against Texas Southern on December 18.
2. Drexel (7-2)
Drexel topped Davidson this afternoon to improve to 7-2. The Dragons continue to look solid so far this season, winning each game they are supposed to and having their only losses come against ranked opponents.
The Dragons face City 6 rival Saint Joseph's on December 18.
1. Villanova (10-0)
The Wildcats improved to 10-0 this afternoon for the first time since the 2005-2006 season with a win over La Salle. Villanova looks to be on a completely different level than the rest of the city teams so far this year. With an extremely deep and well balanced lineup, Villanova is a very dangerous and high-powered squad.
The Wildcats will next face Rider on December 21.
