Dragons Blow Lead To Northeastern In The End

Although the Dragons were able to clinch the fourth seed in the CAA tournament earlier today, they were unable to fend off the late Huskies attack, as they lost by a final score of 54-52.  Fouch led all scorers with 26 points on 9-22 shooting, including 5-14 from downtown.  

The only problem was that he was the only Dragon who finished in double digits in terms of scoring.  Dartaye Ruffin had four points and 7 rebounds.  It was a tough finish for Drexel, who had a four point lead with six seconds left.  It will be tough for the Dragons to regroup after a tough loss like this, but they'll need to turn their focus to the. CAA tournament, which they will need to win if they wish to play basketball in late March.
