Whatever game plan the Dukes had in store for Drexel did not seem to phase the Dragons in the least bit, as the Dragons ended up winning by a score of 78-60. The Dukes kept it close until the 7:50 mark in the second half, where the Dragons went on a 21-6 run to end the game. Chris Fouch finished with a game high 26 points on 8-16 shooting. Five of those conversions came from 3 point territory and ended up with a 50% field goal percentage from downtown. Drexel as a whole went 7-15 from three point land, as Massenat went 2-5 from there. Massenat also finished with 16 points on 7-15 shooting and added four assists to his stats. But we can't discuss today's Drexel game without talking about Rodney Williams' performance. The Richmond, Virginia native recorded a double-double, with 14 points and 10 rebounds. I'm always talking about how someone needs to step up each game to help Fouch, Massenat, and Allen out in case one of them has an off night. Rodney Williams did just that as Tavon Allen only went 3-4 from the field today. Allen shot well in his 26 minutes, but just not as often as he normally does. Williams led the team in rebounding and provided more than enough for the Dragons to finish off the Dukes.
