After a dominating first half performance from a scorching hot Damion Lee, the Dragons let their guard down for a bit before pulling away in the second half, winning by a final score of 53-49. Lee finished with 23 points, leading all scorers, while Four McGlynn led the Tigers in scoring with 14 points. The victory makes it six in a row for the Dragons.
Damion Lee had 15 points in the first half to help the Dragons take a 29-17 lead early on, and finished with 23 in leading his team to victory. Rodney Williams, who finished with 10 points, was the other Dragon to have a double digit point total.
The win gives the Dragons the sweep over Towson for the season, with the first season coming on January 8th on the road. Drexel is now 10-14 on the season, and 8-5 in conference play. While the Dragons got off to an especially rough start in non-conference play, they have come on strong in CAA play. Now in fourth place in the conference, these last five games can give them the push they need for a high seed in the conference tournament.
