Frantz Massenat kicked in 11 first half points in a solid half for the Dragons, who shot 41.2 percent from the field and 57.1 (4-7) percent from beyond the arc.
The Wildcats shooting would be a much different story, as Davidson shot just 26.9 percent from the field and 18.2 percent from 3-point range in the first half. Brian Sullivan would lead the Wildcats with 11 first half points, but was unable to make up for the poor shooting overall by Davidson.
Drexel would remain in control in the second half, although Davidson would close to within 6 points at 54-48 with just over six minutes remaining. The Dragons would keep their composure however, closing the game out strong and winning 72-58 to improve to 7-2 on the season.
Massenat led the way for the Dragons in the contest, finishing with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Chris Fouch would add 17 for Drexel, as the Dragons continue to look like a squad with postseason potential thus far.
Drexel will return to action on Wednesday, as they visit City 6 rival Saint Joseph's at 7 p.m.
