Coming into today with a 6-7 in conference record, many assumed Conference leading Delaware would come into the game and easily take care of the Dragons. However, Drexel went off script and scored a big win against the Blue Hens to improve to .500 in the CAA and 15-12 overall. Tavon Allen led all scorers with 25 points on 10-17 shooting. Allen also dished out 4 assists and grabbed 2 rebounds. As a team, Drexel shot 41% from the field! but played stifling defense as the Blue Hens shot a mere 39% from the field and only 22% from three point territory. Although he only finished 1-6 from three, Chris Fouch remained resilient and finished with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Frantz Massenat scored 11 points and went 4-4 from the free throw line. In fact, Drexel only missed three shots from the charity stripe all game, going 16-19. Center Dartaye Ruffin did what he does best and snagged 12 rebounds and blocked 2 shots on the game. Ruffin has been an excellent defender all season and did a great job against the Blue Hen attack.
