Jordan Matthews had the lone touchdown reception, and also had 51 yards on his 4 receptions. But it was Maclin who once again led the way for the receiving corps, going for 108 yards on his 8 catches.
Sproles wasn't used too much, only taking one carry for 13 yards and catching 3 passes for 19 more yards, but Chris Polk had himself a few touches, rushing for 49 yards on 11 carries.
It was the Eagles' defense, however, that were the biggest difference makers on the field today. They held Romo to just 199 yards and forced him to throw 2 interceptions while not allowing him to get to the endzone. The Birds had 4 sacks on Romo, with one coming from each of Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Casey Matthews, and Vinny Curry.
Finally, possible team MVP Cody Parkey went 4/4 on field goals and had 3 extra points to go with. The special teams has been much improved this season, especially from the kicker position.
With the win this afternoon, the Eagles are officially in the driver's seat for the division title. The Eagles can't rest on their laurels for too long, however, as they face off against the Cowboys once again at home in 2 weeks. A win against the Cowboys at home would pretty much clinch the division.
