The Eagles have announced that left tackle Jason Peters (back) has been downgraded to out for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys. Peters had been listed as questionable on Friday, but did not practice all week. Peters was carted off the field in the first quarter of the Eagles' loss to the Panthers in Week 7 with back spasms and is still not ready to take the field after the bye week, dealing a significant blow to the Eagles' line. |
While not having Peters hurts quite a bit, the Eagles are likely to see Kiko Alonso take the field for the first time since a Week 2 loss to the Cowboys. The linebacker is listed as probable for Sunday night after being sidelined with a knee injury.
In addition, running back Ryan Mathews (groin), wide receiver Nelson Agholor (ankle) and linebacker DeMeco Ryans (hamstring) are listed as questionable. Defensive end Brandon Bair (groin) and linebacker Bryan Braman (shoulder) are listed as probable.
