The Eagles hope to return to their winning ways against the Chiefs following their shoot-out loss last Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. The offense, led by Mike Vick, looked dynamic as ever on Sunday by seemingly moving the ball at will. Chip Kelly hopes to ride this offense to victory against the coach he just replaced, Andy Reid.
It seems like Chip’s offense is truly turning heads in the NFL. Whether this offense could be successful in the long run (long season, less depth in NFL rosters, older players running more plays) is up to debate but it shouldn’t matter in this game. I expect that the Eagles O should still be flying up and down the field. Obviously, the issue has been on the OTHER side of the ball. Let’s just say it, the Eagles defense totally sucked last weekend. Like, REALLY sucked. The Chargers, led by boring crybaby Philip Rivers, made us look silly out there. This has to change if we want more success.
The big storyline here will be the return of Andy Reid to Philadelphia. Hopefully the crowd treats him well for all the great years he gave us and hopefully both teams put on an exciting show for the crowd. Regardless, the Eagles are a fearsome team due to the Blur Offense this year and can use this game as a statement that they are a new and improved team from last year. Let’s do it, boys.
