Going into the 3rd period, the Flyers looked like the team that had played last night, not the Leafs. Can't really fault their effort though. The Maple Leafs just operated better tonight. If you want to take a positive away from the opener, goalie Steve Mason looked sharp.
The other 2 Toronto goals came from the stick of Dave Bolland in the 3rd period.
1 for 7 on the power play won't cut it for the orange and black going forward, so that will need to be improved upon. All in all, it's just one game though. The Flyers are back at it Saturday night when they head to Montreal to face off against former fan favorite Danny Briere.
