Wayne Simmonds goal to tie it at 1-1 in the second period ended the Flyers scoreless drought at 165:01 minutes.
We were treated the rare Jay Rosehill goal today, his 2nd of the year. Rosehill was probably riding high after decisively winning his fight in the first period against Shawn Thornton.
Vinny Lecavalier found himself on the second line again with Simmonds and Schenn as Berube attempted to shake things up and produce some offense.
Johnny Boychuk broke the tie in the third and Milan Lucic and Chris Kelley each added a goal to make the final score 5-2. The Flyers are now losers of four straight. Luckily, the next two games are against Buffalo and Florida. They're pretty vital now though, so let's hope for a victory. Puck drop is tomorrow evening at 7:30 at the Well.
