Nothing happened in the second period and if you switched over to Billy Madison on IFC nobody could blame you.
The Flyers looked like they would head back to Philly with the win, but Byfuglien (you know what I'm gonna help him out, for the rest of this article I'll spell his name right for him) scored his second power play goal of the night to tie it up 2-2. This is Bufflin's first 2 goal game since the Jets were still the Thrashers.
In OT the Flyers dominated time of possession and Coburn had some good opportunities to end it, but the shots just weren't placed right. Going into the shootout the Flyers were at a clear disadvantage. This was their first SO of the season and the Jets' 7th and they were 5-1 going into it.
The Flyers took it to 5 rounds, but ultimately Bryan Little scored the game winner. The Flyers now have a record of 7-10-2 and head home to take on Ottawa Tuesday.
