Hamels received more than enough support on Tuesday night, as the Phillies took the lead in the third inning on a solo home run by Jimmy Rollins.
Grady Sizemore would homer in the fourth to extend the Phillies' lead to 2-0 before Chase Utley cracked a seventh inning grand slam to push the lead to 6-0 in the win.
Hamels' name has come up plenty in trade rumors in recent weeks. While the 2008 World Series MVP has plenty of value and could bring a big haul in return, the trade deadline is rapidly approaching and the Phillies don't seem to be trying to move Hamels.
