Jameel Warney would lead Stony Brook with 11 in the first half, as they Seawolves went to the break with a 31-22 lead.
La Salle would emerge from the locker room looking like a different squad however, utilizing a 13-4 run to open the half to tie the game at 35 apiece. The Explorers dominate the second half with the help of Jerrell Wright, as La Salle stormed back from their first half deficit on the way to a 65-57 win.
Wright led all scorers in the game, as he scored 21 points to go along with 5 rebounds. Fellow big man Steve Zack would put up a double-double for the Explorers, with 11 points and 10 rebounds, as La Salle avoided falling below .500 on the season.
The win moves the Explorers to 5-4 on the season, as they prepare for a showdown with #14 Villanova on December 15.
