What's that two rows up? Is that person dead? No, they're not dead, they're just dead tired.
You've seen this person, they typically are out cold with their face planted firmly against the train window. You would think they're dead, because who in their right mind would want to put their face on a train window? Then suddenly, they move slightly and your fears are squashed.
Their job must be exhausting because every time you see them, they're asleep. They come in two versions. The rookie, who sleeps with their head against the window and the crafty veteran, who can sleep in the aisle seat without doing the constant head bob.
You find yourself constantly playing a guessing game of which stop is theirs and if they'll get off the train in time. I mean, they can't live there can they?
So this one is for you, The Sleeper. Keep living the dream (see what I did there).
