The Phillies fell victim to Josh Beckett on Sunday afternoon, as the veteran righty tossed a no-hitter in the Dodgers’ 6-0 victory.
It would continue to get worse for the Phillies as the afternoon progressed, as they found themselves unable to muster even the faintest hint of offense in this shit-show of a game.
A.J. Burnett finished the afternoon having allowed six runs, four earned, on 11 hits, as he received literally no support from the offense.
The Phillies will be back in action on Monday, as Kyle Kendrick faces off against Jhoulys Chacin of the Rockies.
