Sean O'Sullivan was smacked around for six runs in two and two-thirds innings of work, allowing two home runs, as the Braves broke the game open.
While the pitching staff was thoroughly smacked around, the offense continued to do virtually nothing, as they were held hitless until the seventh inning. The Phillies would get their only run of the game in that inning, as they managed just two hits in the 9-1 loss.
A.J. Burnett will make the start Wednesday for the Phillies, as they face the Orioles.
