Things just continue to get worse for the Phillies, as they were shutout for the 11th time this season in a 5-0 loss to the Marlins.
Cole Hamels struggled on the evening, lasting just five innings, while allowing three runs on five hits and four walks. Even if Hamels had brought his A-game Wednesday night, the lefty would've been left stranded by the offense yet again, as they managed just five hits on their way to their sixth straight loss.

Hamels worked his way out of a bases loaded jam with one out in the bottom of the first before retiring the Marlins in order in the next two innings.
Hamels would not be as lucky in the fourth inning, however, as the Marlins brought home the first run of the game before tacking on two more in the fifth to extend their lead to 3-0.
That would be all the offense the Marlins would need, but they would add two more in the eighth for good measure, as they topped the Phillies 5-0.
