As Spring Training continues to get into full swing, the Phillies have made some roster moves and have some injury updates out of camp, so let's take a look.

Cliff Lee to the 60 Day-DL
The biggest news out of camp came earlier this week when the Phillies placed veteran left-hander Cliff Lee on the 60-day disable. The move follows a second failed attempt at rehabbing from a torn common flexor tendon in his left elbow.
The club announced the move Monday, stating that the 36-year-old pitcher and organization came to a mutual decision to attempt rehab, despite doctors recommending surgery.

Obviously, this takes a major toll on the Phillies as well as their trade pieces.

Brown Day-to-Day With Achilles Injury
Domonic Brown left Thursday's Spring Training game against the Yankees in just the third inning due to soreness in his left Achilles. The 27-year-old outfielder later revealed that the tendon has been bothering him for a few weeks now.

An MRI on Friday revealed no tear to Brown's Achilles, but he does have moderate tendinitis. He is currently listed as day-to-day and could be out of Spring Training games for up to a week.

Franco Optioned to Minor League Camp; Asche Likely Wins Third Base Job
Maikel Franco, the number three prospect in the Phillies' organization as ranked by MLB.com, was optioned to Minor League camp on Friday morning. Franco, who came to camp looking to battle Cody Asche for a job at the hot corner, went 6-for-30 this spring.

With Franco in Minor League camp, Cody Asche has likely locked up the job as the Phillies' Opening Day third baseman. Asche is hitting .267 with two homeruns so far in Spring Training.
