The Phillies would take the lead in the first inning on an RBI single by Chase Utley, and that run would prove to be all they would need, as they topped the D-backs 2-0 behind the gem from Burnett.
Burnett would continue his dominance through eight innings, before being lifted for closer Jonathan Papelbon in the ninth. Papelbon would allow a single to Miguel Montero before eventually retiring the side, as the Phillies took a 2-0 win to close out their road trip.
Utley and Ben Revere continued to be hot at the plate on the afternoon, as both went 2-for-4 in the game, with Utley collecting an RBI and his 11th double of the season.
The Phillies will take Monday off, as they head home to open a series with the Mets on Tuesday. Cole Hamels will make the start, facing off against Jon Niese.
