The Eagles will welcome Washington to Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon, as they look to move above .500 on the season. Philadelphia has yet to win in four games at home this season and is winless in their past 10 home games, stretching back to early in the 2012 season. After defeating a depleted Packers squad on the road last week, the Eagles look to get in a groove behind the solid play of Nick Foles and make a charge for the division title.

Quarterback Nick Foles has been spectacular in his past two starts, throwing 10 touchdowns and no interceptions. Foles will look to maintain that success against Washington as he looks to receivers DeSean Jackson and Riley Cooper to continue their strong play from recent weeks.

The Eagles high-octane offense will look to LeSean McCoy for balance. The league-leading rusher is coming off a week in which he ran for 155 yards on 25 carries. After struggling in the three games prior, McCoy will look to find consistency and add on to his league-leading 932 rushing yards.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of late has been the Eagles defense, which has not allowed more than 21 points to an opponent in their past six games. The defense will look to continue that string of success as they face Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris, who enters the game with the third most rushing yards in the league.

If the Eagles can manage to exercise the demons that have haunted the Linc for more than a year now, they will find themselves in sole possession of first place in the NFC East, as Dallas is on a bye week. Can the Birds finally make their nest a home?
