The Philadelphia defense will look to continue their solid play against a depleted Vikings squad. Having not allowed an opponent to score more than 21 points since Week 4, the defense looks to be at an advantage, as Minnesota may be without the services of running back Adrian Peterson. With the rushing game already weakened, the Vikings will also turn to Matt Cassel at quarterback, giving the Eagles defense the upper hand on paper at least.
It took blizzard-like conditions to get Nick Foles to finally throw an interception, and the young quarterback will look to continue his breakout season. Leading the league with a 120.0 passer rating, Foles will look to receivers DeSean Jackson and Riley Cooper, who are both having fantastic seasons as well.
With a one-game lead over the Cowboys in the division, the Eagles will look to potentially put more distance between themselves and their rival with the season winding down. Expected to win, Philadelphia cannot afford a letdown now. Man, is it fantastic to see meaningful football in December again!
