Eagles fans anxiously awaited Saturday's 4 p.m. deadline for rosters to be cut down to 53 players. The main focus of reporters, fans, haters and just about everyone else has been on one man: Tim Tebow.
After the Eagles traded Matt Barkley to the Cardinals for a conditional late-round pick on Friday, the door appeared to be open for Tebow to make the final roster. In the end, however, Tebow did not make the roster (first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter), ushering in the end of the short Tebow era in Philadelphia. |

Tebow completed 21 of 36 passes for 286 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in four games for the Eagles this preseason. Though the numbers aren't overly impressive, Tebow finished the preseason with a strong performance against the Jets, completing 11 of 17 passes for 189 passing yards, two touchdowns, one interception and added 32 rushing yards on four attempts.

That is highly unlikely, as Tebow will probably return to a career in broadcasting before he would head north of the border to play football. Of course, Tebow could always end up on another team (also highly unlikely).
