Eagles Coach Chip Kelly confirmed on Monday that Parkey injured his leg Sunday during pregame warm-ups against the Jets.

His struggles would continue in the season opener, when he missed a 44-yard field goal with an opportunity to take the lead late against the Falcons.
Parkey failed to reach the end zone on his second kickoff of the game on Sunday against the Jets and put the ball out of bounds, resulting in the Jets starting at the 40 yard line.
With Parkey out, it looks like the Eagles will turn to former Miami Dolphin Caleb Sturgis. Sturgis isn't exactly a stellar replacement, having made just 77.5 percent (55-of-71) field goals in two seasons with the Dolphins.
Great.
