Unfortunately for Rollins and the Phillies, he strained his left hamstring while legging out the triple and was lifted from the game. Rollins will have an ultrasound Tuesday, but the veteran shortstop said he expects to miss at least 10 days.
Rollins is hopeful he can return in time for the Phillies' series with Oakland on September 19.
Without the services of their veteran shortstop, the Phillies would come on the short end against their in state rivals, falling 6-4 in the end.
The Pirates would grab the lead soon after Rollins was lifted, taking a 2-1 lead in the fifth on a two-run home run by Starling Marte. They would add four more in the eighth to extend their lead to 6-1.
The Phillies would rally in the bottom of the eighth, scoring three runs to pull within two of the Pirates, but the rally would fall short, as they lost 6-4.
