Michael Carter-Williams had another great performance in only his third NBA game recording a double-double with 26 points and 10 assists. The rookie basically outplayed Derrick Rose who scored 13 and had 8 turnovers. Hawes also had another impressive game, recording 18 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. Evan Turner added 20 points. The Sixers were outrebounded by Chicago 51-39, but made up for it with great three-point shooting, hitting 11 of 22 shots from beyond the arc, with Thad Young leading the team with 3. Carlos Boozer led the Bulls with 22 points and 10 rebounds and Luol Deng added 20 points.
Philadelphia has proven they can win despite the lack of obvious talent on the roster. They've proven they can keep their composure in close games and have the heart it takes to pull out the victory. They've beaten three teams that are likely to make the playoffs and MCW looks like an all-star so far. I don't think Philadelphia fans could be any more surprised or excited. The 76ers face a tough test at home on Monday against the Warriors. It will be interesting to see if MCW's defense and length can stop the explosive Steph Curry.
