The second half went pretty much the same, as the T'wolves outscored the Sixers in the third and fourth quarter and won 125-102 to move to 4-2 in preseason action.
Minnesota was led by a strong effort from Kevin Love, who appears to be ready to reclaim his spot as the top power forward in the game after missing much of last season. Love dropped 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in just 16 minutes of play, which was complimented by 22 points from point guard J.J. Barea in 17 minutes of action.
The Sixers were led in their losing effort by James Anderson, who scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Evan Turner added a double-double, scoring 11 and collecting 10 rebounds, and rookie Michael Carter-Williams impressed with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals in the game.
The Sixers now will cut down their roster as they prepare to open the season on October 30 at home against the Miami Heat. Buckle up folks, it's probably going to be a long season.
