Thad Young had a great overall performance, leading the Sixers with 25 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Young did however attempt 31 shots and hit only 10 from the floor. MCW flirted with another triple-double as he finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Byron Mullens added 15 points off the bench. Philadelphia shot a pitiful 39% from the floor, compared to an extremely efficient 58% from the Pacers, but the 76ers limited themselves to only 10 turnovers.
This matchup marked the return to Philly for both Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen, who were dealt to Indiana at the trade deadline. ET played 21 minutes in his role as Indiana's sixth man and dished out 4 assists but only scored 2 points. Allen scored 13 points and grabbed 4 boards.
Indiana was led by their all-star, Paul George, who scored 25 points and recorded 6 assists. David West added 18 points and 7 rebounds. Indiana out-rebounded Philadelphia 43-34.
The Sixers are now only 1 loss away from tying a franchise-worse 20 straight defeats. Philly will look to avoid this Saturday against the Grizzlies.
