Sixers Receive #3 and #10 Pick in Draft Lottery

The 76ers will select third and tenth in the 2014 NBA draft. Much like last year's, this draft will play a vital part in Philadelphia's rebuilding process and 2 top ten picks will certainly help. Cleveland will select first overall, for the third time in four years, and Milwaukee will choose second.
With the second-to-worst record in the NBA this past season, the Sixers had a 19.9% chance of landing the number-one overall pick and were guaranteed a top-5 selection. Fan cannot be upset with the third pick in a draft that should be one of the deepest in the past few years. The 76ers also own the 10th pick that they received from the Holiday/Noel trade with New Orleans.

By an incredible stroke of luck (or fixing), the Cavaliers have once again drawn the first pick. Cleveland only had a 1.7% chance of ending up with the top pick and I don't understand how this happened again (I won't get anymore into this for the sake of my own mental and emotional health). With a franchise ball handler in Kyrie Irving, a promising 2-guard in Dion Waiter, and what seems to be a bust in Anthony Bennett, Cleveland may likely pick a forward/center such as Joel Embiid  out of Kansas. This would allow Jabari Parker to slide to Philly if Milwaukee picks Wiggins. However, there are so many ways this draft could play out. The Sixers are in need at every position except PG; Noel could slide to PF, Young can play either forward position, and no one else matters. And maybe the Cavs will make another stunner of a decision like they did last year will Bennett.

Sixers' fans have to be happy with 2 top ten picks in Sam Hinkie's hands. Remember last year, Hinkie found Carter-Williams, the reigning rookie of the year, at #11.

as far as number 3 I see it playing out two ways for the sixers. either they get parker or embiid.
Embiid is apparently the best prospect in the draft (according to a recent report I saw on probasketballtalk) but id be surprised if Cleveland doesn't take wiggins. 1 because they messed up last year's draft and wiggins is the best safest pick and 2 because they just swung and missed badly on a center who had injury issues (Bynum).
If by chance Cleveland does take embiid, then the bucks will take wiggins and we get parker.
If Cleveland takes wiggins, I think the bucks take parker. The bucks already have sanders, Henson and the greek freak, they don't need another big. So then we get Embiid

So last question who do we want more Embiid or Parker?
I think Embiid is the better prospect and will be a better overall player but it's a little concerning to put him and Noel on the court together on offense. Both those guys are going to get most of their points in the paint. Defensively no one will be able to score in the paint though and I think Noel will be a great defender even on the stretch 4s.
Parker on the other hand will help MCW develop offensively. By having a go to scorer MCW can be more of a secondary scorer and be more choosey about his shot selection. Defensively he's not going to be much of a help though.
