Sanchez looked a lot better than he did last week, throwing a lot more accurately. He finished 14-18 for 118 yards. He looked like not only a competent backup quarterback, he looked like a fringe starter (you know, for like the Browns or Texans, not a team with a good quarterback).
Barkley played next, and looked a little shaky out there. He was a little less accurate than last week, going 6-14 for 86 yards. Tebow threw last and went just 2-5 for 13 yards. The fight is still on for 3rd string QB, but reports have indicated that Tebow is in the lead for that spot. With just two preseason games remaining, Barkley really has to prove himself.
The first string defense was great for the Eagles, yet again. They picked off Flacco on both of his first two drives and shutout the Ravens offense, an offense that was a couple of plays from defeating the Patriots and advancing to the AFC Championship game last season. The Ravens couldn't get anything going on offense until the third stringers were in and the game was out of reach.
With just two preseason games left, the Eagles look fantastic out there. Obviously it's just the preseason, so take everything with a grain of salt, but I truly believe that this team can do great things this season. Just keep both of Bradford's legs attached to his body.
