The Tigers would emerge from the half ready to play, taking control of the game in the second half. Outscoring the Owls by 17 points in the half, Clemson cruised to a 72-58 win, as they improved to 4-0 on the season.
Clemson was led in the contest by forward K.J. McDaniels, who dropped 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. McDaniels was a force defensively in the game as well, blocking 7 shots. Center Landry Nnoko dominated the paint, scoring 10 points, grabbing 15 rebounds and blocking 3 shots in the game.
Still searching for a leader, the Owls were led by Will Cummings in the game, as the junior guard scored 22 points. Guard Quenton DeCosey added 15 points for Temple as well, but the Owls' efforts fell short.
Temple, 1-3, will next face off against the 1-2 Georgia Bulldogs on Friday. The Bulldogs are coming off a loss of their own to Davidson in the Charleston Classic.
