Price wasn't the only Explorer to fill up the stat sheet. Jerrell Wright had 19 points on 8-18 shooting and was one rebound shy of his third double double of the season. Steve Zack had his best offensive game of the season, scoring 14 points on 5-8 shooting and grabbing 12 rebounds. The trio of Price, Wright, and Zack combined for 63 of the Explorers' 73 total points.
The 73 scored by La Salle is their most points of the season so far. They averaged just under 59 ppg coming into tonight's contest. While their offense took a few games to break out, the Explorer defense has been terrific. Their opponents have averaged just over 53 ppg before tonight, and Giannini's crew once again held down the fort on defense.
The win tonight is the fourth in a row for La Salle, and brings their record to 4-0 on the season.
