Villanova wouldn't slow down much in the second half, continuing to extend their big lead. With the game in hand and plenty of time left, the Wildcats were able to give their walk-ons some minutes to close the game, with Henry Lowe recording 2 points.
The Wildcats were led in the blowout by junior forward JayVaughn Pinkston. Pinkston scored 21 points on a 9 for 15 shooting performance on the evening.
Guards Darrun Hilliard and Josh Hart would add 18 and 17 points respectively for the Wildcats. Hart also grabbed 11 boards coming off the bench for Villanova.
Shooting 62.7 percent on the evening and dominating the paint, the Wildcats showed some of the explosive scoring potential this roster possesses in the 90-59 win. With Ryan Arcidiacono still not playing to the best of his abilities, this squad has plenty of room for growth and could make some noise this season.
Villanova will be back in action on Sunday November 17, as they take on Towson at home.
