
Villanova
After falling to Seton Hall in the Big East Tournament Championship, the Wildcats slipped to a #2 seed for the NCAA Tournament.
Villanova will open play in Brooklyn on Friday against UNC Asheville, with a potential matchup with Temple looming in the second round.
The Owls fell to eventual AAC Tournament Champion UConn in the semifinals on Saturday, but that did not stop Temple from earning its first NCAA Tournament bid since 2013.
Temple earned a #10 seed and will face off against Iowa in Brooklyn on Friday with a chance to play Big 5 rival Villanova in the second round.
Saint Joseph’s
The Hawks topped VCU in the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship on Sunday for their second tournament title in three years and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Unlike Villanova and Temple, Saint Joseph’s will not being staying close to home, as the #8 seed Hawks head to Spokane, Washington to face Cincinnati on Friday.
