I mean no disrespect to Ben here, but you can’t have a Great Debate without having an argument for both parties. Sue me, but I am partial to Sheetz when it comes to choosing between Sheetz and Wawa. I know many of you reading this will think that I’m some sort of sinner for saying this but bear with me. I have my reasons and here they are.
First and foremost, I will concede that Wawa is truly superior when it comes to hoagies. Hoagiefest is the tits and Wawa sandwiches are just better than those of Sheetz. I will also give it to Wawa that they have their own iced teas, but that’s a nonfactor for me because I get an Arizona tea either way.
Other than hoagies and teas, I truly think that Sheetz has the upper hand. Why? I’ll tell you why. FRIED FOOD. Made. To. Order. Fried. Food. Chicken Fingers. French Fries. Jalapeno Poppers. If it’s cheap and deep fried, chances are Sheetz offers it. Now I know people don’t ALWAYS want deep fried food, but it would be nice if Wawa at least offered it as an option. Especially when I’m drunk.
Another area where Sheetz is better is the breakfast options. Wawa offers some pretty dope breakfast burritos, breakfast hoagies, and the always delicious Sizzli’s, but Wawa got nothing on Sheetz in this department. Imagine a place where you can get your Sizzli’s made to order. If you’re imagining this place, you are imagining Sheetz. Pretty much everything you grab from under a heat lamp at Wawa is something you can get made to order at Sheetz. Not to mention, Sheetz has way more fun names for its breakfast items. Wawa has the Sizzli, but Sheetz has Shmuffins, Shmiscuitz, and Shmagelz.
Now I love Wawa as much as the next one, but I’m just trying to give credit where credit’s due. Sheetz has the options. Let me know what you guys think.
