You can't afford to give your opponent extra outs. The Phillies were reminded of that on Tuesday night.
A two run lead was squandered, as shaky fielding at the hot corner allowed the Angels to rally in the sixth on their way to topping the Phillies, 4-3.

The Phillies would get on the board in the bottom of the fourth when Chase Utley tripled home Ben Revere. Ryan Howard would follow that with a shift-beating single to bring home Utley and put the Phillies up 2-0.
With Cliff Lee on the mound, a two run lead would seemingly be enough. Wrong.
It would not be Lee's fault, however, as Cody Asche committed two errors in the sixth to allow the Angels to rally, as they scored four runs in the frame.
Lee would exit the game after seven innings, having allowed four runs, all unearned, as he went on to pick up his fourth loss of the season due to the Phillies fielding miscues.
Domonic Brown would lead off the seventh with a triple and come home to score on a sacrifice fly by Carlos Ruiz, pulling the Phillies within one run, but they would be unable to complete the comeback, losing 4-3.
The Phillies will close out their short series with the Angels on Wednesday afternoon, as A.J. Burnett squares off with Garrett Richards.
Notes: Cesar Hernandez was called up prior to Tuesday's game, taking the roster spot vacated after Jayson Nix was outrighted. Nix elected to take free agency.
